About CEO
Mr. Nayan Mia is a Chartered Accountant and Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
Brief Profile:
- Mr. Nayan has completed his Bachelor’s and Masters in Business with a concentration in Accounting and information systems (AIS) from Jagannath University, Dhaka.
- Mr. Nayan did his Chartered Accountancy from Nurul Faruk Hasan & Co. Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Deloitte), Dhaka.
- Mr. Nayan had been the Senior Manager of Deloitte’s Bangladesh office for over 12 years until 31 December 2022.
- Mr. Nayan has extensive experience of statutory audits, special audits, risk advisory and financial reviews of national & multinational companies in Bangladesh. Some of them are Unilever Bangladesh Limited, United Finance Limited, Microsoft Bangladesh Limited, Save the Children, Dhaka WASA, IDRA, DNV GL, IHPL, Nokia, CKL, Huwaei Technology Limited, Oxfam GB, Marie Stopes Bangladesh
- He also leads a BPS (business process solutions) team and deals with clients’ bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance in respect of direct tax, indirect tax, and other regulatory matters i.e Coca Cola Bangladesh, Telenor International Center, Gerico Bangladesh Agro Limited, Ver se Innovation Limited
- He has extensive experience in employee benefit fund accounting and Gratuity Fund accounting i.e HSBC, EPIC Group, Linde Bangladesh, Nokia, Huawei Technology Limited, Elanco Bangladesh Limited, etc.
- Mr. Nayan worked with a wide range of cross-industry clients including UK SEC registrants, group auditors, large multinationals and privately held companies, and international development organizations in Bangladesh including Camellia Plc, UK.
- He has led the CAD (Control Assurance department) audit team of Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL), Lallemand Inc. Canada, Varian Medical System USA, Johnson and Johnson.
- Mr. Nayan, an IT and Accounting expert, has contributed to implementing accounting software Tally in many organizations viz: Insurance Development Regulatory Authority (IDRA), Inspiration Communication Limited etc.
- Mr. Nayan is also an expert in SAP module, Quickbook software, APT, Benipack.
